This elegant decorative picture photo frame was hand-made and handpainted for the Christian Dior Home collection in the 1960s. The traditional decor in the style of L'Ecole Boulle in Paris takes up the classics of this prestigious Parisian cabinetmaking school. The frame is decorated by hand with a faux wood effect adorned with delicate gilded brass work. The back and easel are in avocado green moire silk taffeta. The surround around the oval photo view is richly decorated with a garland of gilded bronze flowers in the purest Boulle style. The frame is marked on the back with the Christian Dior logo in hot stamping in gold letters. This frame can be displayed on furniture or hung on the wall.
Note: Photo reproduction of movie star included with the frame as a placeholder until you add your photograph.
