Beautiful 1950s Mid-Century Modern handcrafted and hand-decorated set of three vases by Fratelli Fanciullacci for Bitossi and imported by Raymor. Italian art ceramic two vases and one pitcher with unique sgraffito design.
Those pieces lean more toward a stylized geometric theme developed also by artists like Rosenthal Netter, Aldo Londi, or Alvino Bagni in the same period.
Scrolls, bands, and rectangles adorn the overall pieces with vertical sgraffito creating interest and dimensions. The design is in shades of orange, brown, and gold glazes. The interior is a traditional rich orange glaze often used by Fratelli Fanciullacci.
All pieces marked underside "Italy" with the model number. The tall vase is also marked "Elbee."
Those lovely Italian ceramics were very often imported to the United States by Raymor.
