Vintage Art Deco vase by Saint Clement, France. French ceramic vase with white crackle glaze finish. Features a large puffy round shape with a small collar opening and detailed stylized carving with a geometric shape around the base.
The crackle clear glaze was a popular technique for animal and figural statues as well as decorative vases during the Art Deco period in France. Most of those vases were designed and manufactured by St Clement for Le Printemps department store in Paris and sold under their 'Atelier Primavera' label.
