This lovely 1970s Lucite and chrome ashtray, vide poche, or desk tidy has an incredible design reminiscent of the work of Willy Rizzo. The catchall features a massive clear Lucite square-shaped bowl with a chromed metal rounded insert. The design is beautiful, with straight lines and shiny metal contrast, making it look like an ice cube with a floating round ashtray in the middle. The metal insert is removable for cleaning purposes. There is no visible maker's mark.
