This unique Rene Boschmans for Coceram cubist ceramic tile trio is an exquisite piece crafted with industrial, working, and sports scenes and masonic symbolism in a cubist-style figural ceramic plaque. 
The first tile features a man straddling a cityscape and a farm field holding a red flag with a raised masonic symbol.
The second tile features a group of three men, two dancing and the third one playing accordion, this iconic French musical instrument.
The third tile features three men, two boxing fighters, and the referee.
The shiny glazed ceramic tiles feature the molded artist's signature on the side and a Coceram Company marking on the underside, with a masonic printed mark as a finishing touch. This piece is sure to add a one-of-a-kind statement to any wall.

 

Note:
The Belgian company Faïencerie Coceram was established in 1947 and closed in 1960. 
Rene Boschmans (1913-1996) was a Belgian artist who worked with Coceram. He is known for monuments related to the celebration of socialist reform. Among is the 1959 Arthur Vanderpoort monument outside the Royal Athenaeum in Sint-Michiels, Belgium, nearby Bruges. This monument honors the man who enacted school reform.
